What Is the Therapy Club?
A social club for therapists in private practice to meet, socialise and unwind in a community of people who resonate. Private practice can be isolating; there's no 'away day' with colleagues, no annual Christmas party, generally there is not much social interaction with other professionals at all outside of our supervision and CPD. The Therapy Club is our space to connect and socialise freely.

Who Is it For?
For therapists, counsellors, psychologists and psychotherapists. Whether you are newly qualified or years into your professional role, you are welcome here.
These events are perfect if you want to:
-
Meet other local therapists
-
Build Community
-
Feel less alone in Private Practice
-
Connect beyond professional spaces
-
Enjoy relaxed conversation with people who understand the work
What to expect at our events
Each social has it's own feel, but will generally include:
-
A beautiful venue in the Bath & Bristol area
-
A welcome drink
-
Light food or grazing boards
-
The freedom to connect with like-minded individuals
-
Light facilitation and hosting
-
An intentional space grounded in Real World Therapy Values
Therapy Club has a No Virtual Events Motto. We gather in person, intentionally.
Why these events matter
Therapists hold space for everyone, but who holds space for us?
Private practice is deeply meaningful work, but it is often isolating, lonely, emotionally heavy, and professionally disconnected.
These socials exist to facilitate community and belonging in an authentic way removed from the inherently professional spaces we are used to connecting in such as CPD trainings or conferences.
Therapy Club FAQ
Do I have to be an accredited therapist to attend?
No, you do not have to be an accredited therapist to attend, trainee's are welcome too! The events are for talking therapy practitioners including those in training.
Is this a networking event?
Not in the traditional sense. It’s social first, professional second.
Will there be alcohol?
Probably. Venues usually offer bar service, and a non-alcoholic welcome drink is always available.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Many people do!
Can I bring a colleague?
Yes, please do. Just make sure you both book a ticket for entry.
Is this CPD?
No. These events are purely social, a chance to connect and feel supported.
But we are looking at CPD socials for the future, watch this space.
